Mediacove have just completed a project working along side the Wolverhampton's PCT team to produce a short animation which tells young people all they need to know about LARC. LARC stands for Longer Acting Reversible Contraception and methods linclude the implant, injections, IUD's and IUS's (both more commenly know as the coil).
Whilst making this project we discovered that LARC is a far more safer method of contraception than using the pill or condoms. In typical use, 8 women out of 100 get pregnant using the pill over a year, but less than 1 woman in 1000 will get pregnant using LARC!
