Wellbeing for Life in Wolverhampton

Wellbeing for Life managed by Age Concern Wolverhampton is one of 29 health and wellbeing projects in the Living Well in West Midlands portfolio, funded by the Big Lottery. Wellbeing for Life is a physical activity project which has been running in Wolverhampton for 3 years providing exercise to older people in Luncheon Clubs and Drop in Centres.

Mediacove Productions have been working with the team over the past few months to create a DVD which showcases the achievements of the Wellbeing for Life Project. The DVD contains a 5 minute overview of the project which includes interviews with project organisers, class trainers, and elderly participants to the classes as well as showing the benefits of the exercises for elderly people.

The DVD also contains exercises for you to do in your own home – consisting of a warm-up, 10 minute seated exercises, 10 minute standing exercises and a cool-down.

If anyone would like to purchase a copy of the DVD, please contact us
